About Dr. Darryl
Dr Darryl Cross is a clinical psychologist who is also an accredited coach, an author, international speaker and university lecturer.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation.
He has lectured in Psychology at two universities in Australia over a ten year period in both Brisbane and Sydney and currently is a sessional lecturer at the University of South Australia. Dr Cross was an honorary consultant to the Catholic Family Welfare Bureau in Brisbane dealing with a whole range of family issues and later was the Director of a Unit for Children with Behavior Disorders at the Adelaide Childrens' Hospital. He has been in private practice for more than 20 years in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.
Dr Cross has written two books on his clinical experiences. One on parenting titled "Growing Up Children" and the other on teenagers called, "Teenager Trouble-shooting: How to Stop Your Adolescent Driving You Crazy." Both are available on www.amazon.com.
He is heard regularly on local and national radio and television and is frequently called upon to give his opinion.
Darryl has given countless seminars and workshops on a variety of topics and his talks and presentations have taken him around Australia as well as to the USA, UK, and South-East Asia.
